Weekends at Keyhole Kid
Weekends at Keyhole Kid invites children to take the red carpet and explore feelings, emotions and personal stories through drama, music and movement. Whether your child is shy and needs help coming out their shell or they are a natural actor craving a theatrical playground, Keyhole Kids is a strength-based, all-inclusive program with a mission to bring harmony and wellness to children through the creative arts.
Breean Canzano, she/her (MA, MFA, RDT) is a registered drama therapist, master level clinician, educator at Lesley University Expressive Arts Program and the Leap Schools and a professional actress.
Ages 5-7
Puppet and Me
Children will enjoy puppet play, create a puppet personality and develop stories. Encourages feeling expression and builds connection with others.
Keyhole Wonders
Children will peek into the “magical keyhole” and explore new places and characters. Develops imagination, creativity and spontaneity.
Ages 8-11
The Actor’s Studio
Children will engage in drama games, improvisation and a performance process. Builds confidence and encourages creative collaboration.
Comedy Club
Did you know adults laugh 4-20 times a day and children laugh 300-400 times a day? Let’s keep our kids laughing and living joyously with drama games, improvisation, clowning, mask work and comedy writing. Helps keep the nervous system balanced, regulates affect and emotion and builds confidence.
Keyhole Monologues
Children will explore different roles and stories through monologue, scene work and playwriting. Builds social/emotional skills and awareness and confidence.
