What is Drama Therapy?

Everyone of all ages can benefit from creative techniques and drama therapy!

Through role play, drama games, imaginative play, art, music, movement and stories, children and adults gain confidence and grow through a creative process.

About Breean Canzano

Breean is a registered Drama Therapist, Creative Coach, Actor and Educator. Breean is dedicated to helping children and adults learn about themselves, grow and achieve harmony through creative and artistic expression. Breean's approach is to treat every person with respect and value.

Breean is a clinical instructor in the graduate drama therapy program at Lesley University, a creative arts specialist at the Leap Schools: a language enrichment arts program and school, a drama therapist at Newbridge on the Charles, and a company member actor for IBIS Consulting Inc. a leading company in diversity training that implements interactive theater. Breean also works for Simmons College in collaboration with Dramatic Results as a creative team member in interactive theater training for diversity, gender and power dynamics.

As a fellow traveler and ally in a co-creative process of growth and wellbeing, children and adults will find ways to grow and be themselves in a positive and authentic way.

Through a dramatic and creative arts curriculum, children will have the opportunity to engage in theater, music, dance and art. The activities are designed to enhance expression, explore feelings, build social skills and provide support in finding ways to regulate behavior. The dramatic playground is a wonderful opportunity for children and others to experiment, be curious, imaginative and create new possibilities.

Through a creative and mindful play space, Breean creates an environment that allows children and adults to be unique, have fun, grow and feel empowered.
